Format

Date

c. summer of 1913

Location

Description

This page serves as a collection of various photographs of travel destinations in Wyoming and Colorado's "North Park." In 1913, Wyoming was a relatively young state with just 23 years of statehood. Sites such as North Park and Big Creek Canyon are examples of some of the natural beauty that drew tourists to these states. The sights of the American West featured on this page are, most notably, a log cabin building Claude describes as "tipical," a hayfield and bunk house in Colorado, a faint Cont. Devide in Colorado, Big Creek Canyon in West Wyoming, a wagon in Colorado, a Hunter Encampment in Wyoming, the North Continental Divide in Wyoming, a ranch spanning 22,000 acres, a dam in North Platte, a riverbank in northeast Colorado, and the east Big Creek River Valley in Wyoming.
